May 14-19                        Ancestral Cooking Course (5 days)

A week-long exploration of ancestral cooking in Sicily. We'll discuss heirloom recipes and enjoy classes where we prepare traditional foods. Includes 3 cooking classes, a farm visit and a visit to a fishing village to learn about regional ingredients such as fish, capers and sun dried tomatoes. The dates of this class are right before Noto's world famous Infiorata so that you may extend your stay on your own if you wish. Accommodations and transportation are not included, but we'll give you suggestions for family owned guesthouses and B&Bs after you book the class.

September & October          Olive Harvest Tour

We'll devote at least one lesson to cooking with olives and olive oil. We will harvest olives if weather and conditions permit, and we'll visit a traditional olive press, have a guided tasting with an olive oil expert and more! The course includes 3 cooking lessons, olive press visit, farm visit and more.
